Live racing returns November 30FLORENCE, KY . . . November 17, 2003 . . . After a two-month hiatus, live Thoroughbred racing returns to Turfway Park on Sunday, November 30, with the $50,000 Holiday Inaugural Stakes. Post time on opening day is 1:10 p.m. EST.
In general, first post throughout the meet is 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 1:10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The track is closed, or dark, Monday and Tuesday. To accommodate the holiday season, the following exceptions apply: the track will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, December 24 and 25, and open Monday and Tuesday, December 29 and 30, with a 1:10 p.m. post time; in addition, first post on Friday, December 26, and Wednesday, December 31, will be 1:10 p.m. Gates open 90 minutes before first post. All times are Eastern Standard.
General admission and parking are free throughout the meet.
