BRIGHT FUTURE FOR TURFWAY PARK BEGINS WITH 2019 HOLIDAY MEET
FLORENCE, Ky. (Nov. 26, 2019) – While construction of Turfway Park’s new facility won’t begin until the spring of 2020, changes that herald a bright future for the Northern Kentucky Thoroughbred racetrack are already evident as it opens its 44th holiday meet Dec. 4. New Turfway Park Rendering(CDI press release) LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 09, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Churchill Downs Incorporated (“CDI” or “the Company”) (Nasdaq: CHDN) announced today that, through its wholly-owned subsidiary NKYRG, LLC, it has completed its previously announced purchase of all of the outstanding equity of Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky from Jack Ohio LLC, an affiliate of JACK Entertainment LLC, and Hard Rock International for total consideration of $46 million in cash, subject to certain working capital and other purchase price adjustments.
